In maps of Small Sumo i see a diferrent technique.
He use the arches (end cap) with more volume creating a nice effect of volume/area into the arches.

How he make this ?

Looks like he used Square Cylinders wih Endcap(s).

- Make a small vertical brush and go to Curve > Primitives > Square cylinder
- Press Ctrl+B to get into Bendmode and follow the steps to bend your cylinder.
- To close the ends, have your cylinder selected and go to Curve > Cap > Inverted Endcap

This tutorial shows you how to create some nice curves to your map, focusing on arches.

Also, there are arches made with brushes in my test_bomber map. The .map file is in the zip, so you can just copy the arches.

Thanks TLTrude,

In past i download the bomber test (congratulations for a V2  ) !!!
The arches constructed by you is exactly wath i make, using caps and/or brush's with 16 sides.

But i think the final object constructed by Small Sumo dont is a result of cylinders work (if you have the Saving Private Ryan - Final Scene, stop in front of the church, you see the arches completed and a destroyed arche, obvious, its a solid brush, but how ????)
