looks like another great tut. just one thing though.
i followed every tut and suggestion i read on this site and nothing worked. at least not until i put all of the files(.mus, .bsp, etc) into a .pk3 file, did it ever work.
this was never clear to me when reading the tuts. i am sure there are other n00bs out there that are having this same problem and are unaware to do this.

this was only a small details not communicated well for n00bs. other than that these tuts are great!!!

thanks for the hard work!!

Thanks for the input. I never tried it other than in a '.pk3' so I didn't think about it.

Wierd....pretty much 100% of the tuts work without having to put them in a .pk3 file for me.....

i must have just missed a step or just didn't read the tuts well enough. i have been known to try and speed read and then try what i learned. might have missed a step or something.
but it did work when i put it in a pk3, within all of the respective folders.
like always, it is probably a tiny detail!

thanks again. happy huntin'

We certainly mean no offense what so ever. When writing a tutorial I understand what it is that I am trying to say, so sometimes when I read what I have written, I see what my intent was, not necessarily what I have written. I have shared the frustration of trying to learn something totally new, and ?read.me? and ?HowTo? files sometimes make some assumptions that may not apply.

I find that having a novice read a tutorial and trying to implement it, help?s to insure its clarity. This is a tough post to fill though, because after reading a number of these, the novice is no longer a novice. So we really appreciate your input!
