infected: cant open a folder

ok, so i downloaded the Spyware Doctor and it says ive got many viruses, but am too cheap to buy it so itll remove the stuff for me so im manually removing crap and spyware myself.

microsoft is screwy again and wont lert me open my windows/system32 folder.. i can open it in firefox, but i cant get to it via exploerer or a dowloaded exploerer substitute (that opens hidden folders). also, i cant see to find some stuff in my registry (as i dont nkow a thing about the registry)

ok if anyone cyud help me find and delete these id be v grateful:

Ad-aware

Ad-aware is a good program (free) for getting rid of cookies from advertisers, but it wont get rid of a virus.

You can look up the names of the virus' on the web. A lot of the anti-virus sites will have instructions on how to manually remove them, but it can be a real pain.

I have been told its better than norton, not that I think norton is the best thing in the world but its gotta be worth a try.

I use avast mainly because it has a 64 bit version it works good . Free to home users .
