Nice clear windows

Is there a texture that is only a pane of glass? (none of that fancy lines and zig zags stuff)

I've tried to set all the window sizes to .000001 so the windows would be really big on the brushes, but that proved to be too much work and the func_windows and func_doors would require another paragraph of coding to get them to appear like normal panes of glass.

If there isn't a texture, how would you make one semi-transparant and glass-like?

i'd tell you how to make a simple glass only texture but i don't use photoslop. but i did make an example .pk3 with textures and scripts (think there's a small room .bsp to see the window in play also...

I got glas.pk3, now what? "Now what" as in where do I put it?

drop the .pk3 into your main folder

c:\program files\ea games\mohaa\main.

For future referance, after the maps done and looks fantastic (it's multiplayer) how would I get the glass texture to work in a pk3 or zip file to send to all my GCC pallies?

in your map .pk3

create folder titled maps/subfolder titled dm (place .map file in there)
create folder titled script (place shader for glass in there)
create folder titled textures/subfolder titled custom_glass (place glass texture file in there )
