How do you set up spawn points in DM. I couldn't find a tutorial to help me. I see there is player start, allied, axis, deathmatch, and intermission. Do you add as many play starts as you want players, or what?

If you want to make spawnpoints for DM you have to add these: allied, axis and deathmatch (because a DM map will automaticly be available for ffa, tdm and rbm). 'Allied' and 'axis' are used for team death match and round based match (also for obj but we are talking about a dm map now). 'Deathmatch' is used for free for all. Its up to u how many spawnpoints you'll add. Try to add them regular for a good distribution. However the number of spawnpoints isn't dependent on the number of players.
'Intermission' is somekind of spawnpoint for spectator, eg when the map starts u'll get spawned in spectator at the intermission.
'Start' is used to spawn in singleplayer.
Add the spawn points by rightclick >info/player/. That's all, but be sure there is some free space around the spawnpoints also be sure the spawnpoints are not inside the ground and you cant have any brushes or entities inside the spawnpoint.

You need one "info_player_start" spawn point in the map. Then add as many allied, axis, and deathmatch spawns you want. The deathmatch spawns are for FFA games only.

right click in 2d widow.
info-player-start.
info-player-axis.
info-player allied.
should work, no ?
setting up mapbuilder to ffa/tdm before you compile ?
you can open up console and type in maplist, and seek out your map that way.
are you saving your work when you are done adding spawnpoints ?
