AI actors walking true each other...

Hello,
Again a newbie in the forum...

Here is what happens and what i did so far:
- I made a map and the script entirely like mentioned in the tutorail "AI patrol waypoints"
- I deleted the trigger, and added "walkto path1" in the soldiers AI. He will start patroling from the start, not from the trigger. So far so good...
- I added another soldier, with targetname "badguyB", the other was "badguyA".
- I changed the map objectives that you have to kill both guards.
- Added "walkto path2" for second soldier. As you see, both soldiers follow the same guard-line, from path1 to path2 and back.

All this works great but:
As soon as both soldiers cross each other, they walk right true each other.
I added "interval 20" in each soldiers AI, but that doesn't do the trick...

Anyone any ideas?

Setting an interval only works when the AIs are in attack mode, i.e. handled by 'anim/attack.scr'. No other animation handlers have interval code included.

So you'll have to script the AI so that they won't meet each other.

I'm registered now 8)

Since both soldiers are in "guard" mode, interval doesn't work...
How did you find out?

Now, how do i script that AI?

Or is the best way adding 2 new waypoints for soldier 2?
This is ofcourse easier for me to design...

Thanks anyway!

I think different patrol routes is the best way to go.
