Sounds

Hi!

i have a problem in my map. When i walk over the 'bunker', he hearing me :D, so, when i open one door (front of the map), he hearing me in the back of the map) sry, my english, i hope so, that u will undarstand me.:s

So, the sound of the back door opening is coming form the wrong location?

I'm not sure, but I took that to mean that if he opens a door on one side of the map, it can be heard opening all the way on the other side.

I mean, that, if i opening one door or i move one place, its hearing all over the map, so i mean as, u move in v2 control, another player hearing u in the allies spawn.

The range of the sound is in the ubersound script--like this.

aliascache door_metal_open_move1 sound/mechanics/DoorMetalOpen_04.wav soundparms 1.2 0.2 0.8 0.2 160 1600 item loaded maps "m dm moh obj train"

So, players can hear this sound up to 1600 units away. That is only one of the many sounds that doors use.

But, You can change or remove the sounds a door uses in its properties (key N).

Thanks for help, but default 'settings' is 160 1600, so, why? i dont hearing if player moving the control from alies spawn:D but my map... :S but, maybe its not too big problem:s
