pick up item

I want to spawn an item that can be picked up - moved and dropped. There is to be one of these items in the map and it should allways exist.

Can this be a static model? or what models can be handled this way?
and how is that scripted?

Elgans mines script might be able to be modified to do what you want.
I believe he made it part of Admin Pro.

It would help if you can tell us what you are trying to do in more detail. It sound a bit like capture the flag, but with that the flag returns to its origin when a player carrying it is killed.

I want to attach a trigger to the item - so it can be moved around by any player-

Player will find the item - pick it up - rondevous somewhere with the team for protection - hold it to score points, untill killed or unless the player decides to drop it to hide it or for another team player to pick it up.

This is for an addition to the hold mod - portable hold.

why not use Elgans countdown gametype feature where ppl had to pick up the radio and carry it but change it to fit your needs...

I have no idea how you would do this, but I have a suggestion. Would it be possible to look at the script or something for the portable MG42? That might give you a pointer. Hopefully someone else will know.
