don't feel bad, i fell for both the TMT one and the mohaafiles.com one. if my wife had played it smart she would have pulled an ''i'm preggo'' joke. then again after hearing it 7 times, it kinda loses it's sting.

bf2s.com had me... completely randomized some of the ouput he gets from the main bf2 data servers.
My friend just made me read a WOW patch note, which was an april fools, but blizzard is such a bunch of loser pansies, I actually did think alot of it was feasable, and on top of that, they put it on thier site with a disclaimer that it was an april fools patch note, what a compelte lack of balls, I mean why bother?
Sh*t I forgot!
we were all gonna quit at work for april fools!
I guess really quitting a week or so ago made me forget about it =p (new job)

there was a seriously funny patch peek that was intended to make people go "yeah" and "WTF" at the same time, the one i saw didnt have any disclaimer as an april fools though.

That cat decapitation video should be banned, even if it was a fake!!!

the problem with that is where do you draw the line and who draws it?
and a better question, do you want someone dictating what you see?

personally i think anything that depicts cruelty to that extent (animal or otherwise) should be banned. what entertainment does that give? twisted.
but political humor, violence, language, pornographic, etc should be at user discretion. obviously parents would need to watch how their kids operate, but eventually, who cares?
i dont mind seeing a skater wipe and get hit in the face with his board, because it's so funny to me. but decapitating or maiming anything just makes me look at something else, because it doesnt entertain me.

ITs free speech.
And its not readily available to anyone. Parents should be monitoring thier kids online... of course most dont, but that burden in no way falls on the government or anyone else.
My friends mom wouldnt let us rent a clockwork orange at 14... good for her... Its her responsibility to regulate what the kids in her house have access to, and she did so. As an adult its your own responsibility to regulate what you see.
