Hi Can someone explane how vis is used or point me to a tut on it , Ive done my first map but have no vis and i think you use it to raise the fps? if im thinking of it right "as in visable" so only visable gets drawn? thanks

Ok got that, but still i get no vis data? in the cmd box it says "Radiosity turned off due to no vis data being present" just dont make sence as the fps in some spots is down to 53 fps from 96. Im using mapbuilder with -v selected is this right or am i doing it wrong? thanks

no vis data means you didn't place any areaportals or leafgroups in your map, and it defaults to the basic, clumsy VIS that the compiler creates.
to improve your fps and VIS performance you'll need to use those tutorials to optimize your map.
