Totally Newb Q

Ok, Total newbie question. ive downloaded the map, its in pk3 format. Ive put it in /main folder.. NOW WHAT? i cant find them when i try 2 create a new game, i cant load them using the console + Map <mapname> command..
What should i do?

Try opening the .pk3 file with winzip and look up the bsp folder and name.
Then report back 8).

ya you download, unzip into main folder, then it should show up when you try to find it in the consol.

do as jv said. find the .bsp name and look for that in your maplist. also, dont type map mapnamehere unless its a SP map. if you do, then your MP map will load like a SP one and you will be without weapons. its funky.
