I HAVE A SERVER WITH A PASSWORD ON IT HOW THE POOP DO I CONNECT TO IT FROM MY COMPUTER WITH THE CONSOLE! plz

if its a moh server, download (if you done have already) The All Seeing Eye. Install, let it do its software thing, and then, find your server using the "server / find" tool, right click it once you have found it, click "server properties" type in the rcon password where needed. Then, right click the server again and select "rcon command" and vola, thats how i do things to my server while not being on it.

These probs other ways, but this is the way i do things, i can also use a DMW scanner to do the same stuff, but that means i have to run dmw. (im not a hacker or nothing, just a lazy ass for not running it 24/7)

I think your asking the following,

"I need know how to join a passworded server via rcon"

This is simple, when trying to connect to the passworded server, and you get "disconnected" hit the tab key (looks like 2 arrows pointing left and right on same key) to bring console up, then type in "password" followed by a space and then the servers password. Hit enter, then type "reconnect" and if the password correct, it should let the player join.


(NOTE, you need to know what the Server Password is, to find this out (if you have server rcon) type in "rcon (rcon password here) password" and i think, however my rcon knowleage is abit rusty, that should bring up what the servers password is set to.

Bring down the console and type without the quotes,

'password xxxxxxxx' where xxxxxxx is the password
'connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:yyyyy' <enter>

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx being the ip address of the server and yyyyy being the port

so if you wanted to connect to a server with the password bunnyrabbit
with an ip of 255.255.255.255 on port 12203 you would bring down the console and type

password bunnyrabbit <enter>
connect 255.255.255.255:12203 <enter>

and this will take you into the server.
