Sun (beneath if not completly off)

Post by Kiko »

How do I make the sun under the map, or even better how do I remove it, and will it take out a lot of the lighting (i'm really looking for this) I want a nice dark map like the night shit that went on.

Use a positive angle on the X axis when setting sundirection. :) Eg.:
key: sundirection
value: 90 0 0
will give you a sun shining straight up from the bottom of the skybox. :) And you won't lose any lighting at all, unless you were explicitly using it. ;)

sunflarename

Post by tltrude »

key: sunflarename
Value: none

That will get rid of the sunflare. But lowering the suncolor values and the ambientlight will make it darker.
