I have just got it but i cant seem to get it to work... Can anyone help me please Thank you.

I think i somewhat understand the scripting.
Ok looks liike if(level.script=="maps/m6l1b.scr")
activates the program for that particular map.... so im guessing if there is a map that isnot on there that i need to use the program for would i do this....


And whatever map it is that i want to use that isnt already in the file i would put the name of the map where the stars are?

PM rookie or JV about any banning concerns you may have I am sure they will look into it .

i dont help members that should be banned, especially since before he became an *** i helped him get it working, 4 months later and he is still barely trying to spawn an object without a problem

Giffe all im tryin to do is get something finished. A large project. Im not spamming im asking simple questions. I can EASILY spawn things IN MULTIPLAYER maps. I just cant get it too work in SOME singleplayer maps. All i ask for is a little bit of help. And no grief. Please just let me ask my questions release my pk3 and i will be gone. That is all i ask of anyone. I'm About 2/3 way through. Just please let me finish up and noone will ever see me on these forums again. Thank you everyone you have all been a great help. I just need to finish doing my spawn points and some mods and ill be ready to release it. Please admins just give me a chance to finish this up....... It is a very large project for me and im almost done.. I just REALLY need some help from .MAP. Please just let me finish up asking my questions thats all that i request and i will be gone!

I see so what they are saying is true . We can't have anyone disregarding a ban . I am not an admin so can't ban anyone but at least I can lock threads or delete posts so thread closed .

Ah. Interesting case this . On the day matt registered his mattneed account, me and Rookie 1 were informed by alerted members that this new user was another form of snipester. However, by that time mattneed had already shown much more civilized behaviour than snipester ever had so it was decided to give him a second chance.

Although he has clearly dodged a ban, the action itself would qualify for an immediate ban, but over the last months I haven't seen any significant 'forum offenses' by mattneed. With that in mind, banning mattneed seems unnecessary.

GiffE, no one is holding a gun at you (I hope ), so you don't have to help someone if you don't want to

bdb thanks for your quick reaction, 'we can't have anyone disregarding a ban' makes sense but I think in this case an exception can be made. Ofcourse, mattneed, this isn't a 'carte blanche', but as long as you behave nicely and adhere to the forum rules you're safe here.

Thanks all for reading, now on with the bother of the day . This thread is open again, for those who want to help mattneed with his problem. If you want to discuss the decision of not immediately banning mattneed, you're very welcome to, but don't do it here but make a new topic in off-topic

I'm not a huge advocate of second chances after childish behavior, it usually doesnt change, but he seems to have learned his lesson (or might be a sibling) if the problems associated with snipester return then the ban should happen again but until then i dont see anything wrong with it.

rules are bendable, after all, intuition is the best decision device.

i'm for second chances but this is like the third, fourth and fifth for some of us. as long as he doesn't refer to me, reply to me, or in any way try to contact me personally, i could care less if he's banned or allowed on here. i fully trust jv's and the .map admin's current decision on this matter of wait and see because jv and the .map admin are beautiful people , god like if i may; whose voices/text are too pure for us to hear/read.

now pardon me, i'm going to go slay some feeble entity in their name to further glorify them. later i will concieve another child to finish my holy trifecta of .map names by naming the spawn Bd .

Well I think his orignal ban was in may about a month or so ago and I am not against lifting a ban and giveing someone a second chance but to defy a ban is something else . Since his original offence wasn't that serious I think 10 lashes and a smack on the pee pee will be enough punishment for now I think though that he should be concidered on probation for a while yet .
