Compile/scripting error?

Hello evryone.. I'm building my first map. I already made some releases of it for my clan members so they could see it. Now I am at version 1.7 and I get this error when I try to start the map. I get this error if I start it right away (after compiling) with the console --> maplist --> select map, but also when I try to start it as a normal server with pk3.

Three errors

Looks like you have three errors. The one that say, unknown command: rotatzright, is a script error. The commands you can use for rotate are...

rotateX
rotateXdown
rotateXup
rotateY
rotateYdown
rotateYup
rotateZ
rotateZdown
rotateZup

For your "$bruecke" I think you may want "rotateY".

There is another script error for a setthread in the map. It is probably searching for a thread name that is not in the script.

For the func_rotating door error, there is an origin brush that is not part of a door entity. Look at those coordinates for it, and redo that door.

Ok that door error part I do understand. But that cant shut down my whole map isnt it?

And about the other errors.. I do not understand how to fix them.

Yours says rotatezleft, It can only be one of these

And you have a setthread set on a trigger, It must have an error in the script, And yes that door will shut down your whole map..

Post your script and it will be fixed and explained :wink:

Well I cant script., I got a friend who does that for me.. but I can tell you its full of errors.. its a wonder that the map still works. And about the door error you were right. My map does work now.

(how can I post the script, do you mean the script file in my .pk3?)

Tell your "Modder" to send you the .scr hes been editing for the mods, Then post it here 8-)

There aren't any mods in my map, but I will ask him to send the .scr

I see it says maps/dm/kerk.scr

In your logfile up there.
Must be a custom map?

It lists the rotation errors in the script I guess he does not know how to open a pk3 to extract the script from it .

Ok, I see nothing is wrong with my .scr.. But I got much errors in my compiler.. However the map does work normal.
