Loading screen

Im just about to finish my first map :wink:

Im about to create the loading screen. Im trying to create the .urc file, but when I save the urc file as .urc its doesnt change into urc but ; filename.urc.txt ... :?: Is there another way to this?

Uhm. If you use notepad as editor you should switch to "all files" when saving and put .urc instead of .txt.

You could just remove the .txt in your explorer too.

you could also just take the file you have, right click, click rename and just get rid of ''.txt'' .

Copy the .urc from the original .pak file and just edit it, Then save :wink:

no...no it wouldn't. because he doesnt know to save it as "all files" in notepad, did you guys even read the problem?

i was talking at green beret and kiko, because how would he save it correctly when he saves at .txt?

File type swapping (for easy access to those files)

I always got kinda annoyed at having to kinda rename everything when i wanted to look at it; so try doing this. This example is done with pk3s, but works with anything (as long as you associate with the right file type)

Vaguely random, but i thought it may be appreciated
