No sound :\

Post by Teck »

ugh nothing but problems I formatted my other computer the day before yesterday and it hasn't had sound since... I've installed the drivers, taken out the card put it back in, booted without the card, then installed it, uninstalled everything and tried all of the above again, checked the speakers they work, checked all of the settings on the computer they're all correct, I've done basically EVERYTHING there is to do outside of trying a different sound card because I don't have another sound card besides on that built into an old computer of mine's m/b anyone have any suggestions? I've read all of the support and help files on creative, and on windows xp and still nothing has helped.

It has the following:

AMD Athlon 700mhz
Sound blaster live! value (tried the latest drivers and the drivers that came with the computer)
384mb ram

hey it's not he best but it plays MOH fine ;D

And the sound worked before the format, but not after... :\

Check the device manager for conflicting devices.
