To have or not to have maps?

Yes....this my question!
As I wrote in another topic I have a problem of game crashing (unsupported marker type 0x3a).
I check with the program "map downloader" that I have all the maps installated in my pc (for example baazar, holland...) but every time I try one of these "strange" map...the game will crash
I can play very well with the 7 main maps (mohdm1-7).......
I'm very very unhappy
