With light entity selected, bring up your windows paint program. Colors/edit colors/define custom colors. Select a color, make adjustments using slider or whatnot, goto add to custom colors, then hit enter........... light in radiant will change to the color you selected.
For light intensity, with light selected, hit the "n" key to bring up the entity window. In the yop box type light, in the bottom box type a number between 1 vand 300, hit enter. Light value will change......... low number, low light...... etc.

JV is your _color 1.0 0 0 in the .scr or the entity window?
And neilomax, that didn't work.

Entity window... you can't add lights via script unless you're talking about dynamic lights. So far I assumed you meant point lights placed in the editor.

I should have read your post a little better. YOU should have posted this under scripting. No big deal, glad you got your script to work.

You read it fine, Maybe he read it wrong
Maybe it was using the windows paint program instead of hitting k while entity window is open that confused him
