Limited lights?

Ok, so I've been working again on my night map. And I used a lot of lights. At a certain moment, when I restarted mohrad, my lights seem to disapear! And some won't show up in-game neither after compilling!
I've been counting them, and I got about 60 in my map now. Is this a limit? If so, is there a way to bypass this? Because I really need more than just 60 lights...
PANIC!!!

I think there is a limit to the size of the light map -- things that are lit up by the lights. You may need to add "dynamic lights" to get around it. Dynamic lights are add in the game and are not compiled. Their light is not as good a point lights, but not being compiled means they are no part of the light map. They also can be turned on and off by the script.

Ok, thanks for the answer, but, how does this work? =P I've never worked with dynamic lights before; I don't even know exactly what it is. How do I add them in the first place?
I've been trying finding tutorials, but can't find anything about these dynamic lights.

Why so many lights have you tried ambient light or sunlight with dark colors like moonlight ?

You don't get the same effect with sun(moon)light or ambient light. Because most lights are indoor, candles and stuff.

I can assure you that you aren't exceeding any limit with 60 lights.
What do you mean, the lights disappear, the areas they're suppose to lighten up are dark? Are you sure you compiled the right file? And you saved the changes you made in Radiant? Lights can't just disappear like that.

I know if you copy and paste lights alot it courses a problem.. try making them one by one if you have just been using space bar to clone them.. Usally its more then just the lights that dissapear so your lucky. (thats if you have been doing it that way)

I agree with the man above. I also had trouble cloning lights. Most of the time it works, sometimes it doesn't. My personal experience it happens most when I have them angled.
I also have more than 60 in the map I'm working on now, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Along with my light entities, I also use a "mild" 10 10 10 or 15 15 15, ( or whatever ), ambient light in my night maps. Makes them look better than just using light entites alone.

Right, many thanks! Indeed I've been cloning (spacebar) lights a lot, so that probable was the problem. Everything is working fine now =)
