? MOH start up ?

Post by Devil_Dog »

I just read the tip of the day posts in mapping about starting moh to go directly to a custom map using a desktop icon.

Is there a way to start it to go directly to a server?
-and if so-
If the server is private (pasword protected) is there a way to enter this also?

You can create an internet shortcut on your desk top (favorites menu). But, login might be hard to do. It would take a cookie to login, I think.

Look up at the address bar now. Notice that the internet page says "viewtopic.php". That is the page name, but extra things are tacked on to the end with a "?" mark, "#" sign or "&" sign. They tell the browser what to load, send, or display on or to that page. In this case "p=97178" is probably the "post" number.

So the next time you login to that server, take a look at the address line to see what it says. If login info is there, you can add it to the desktop shortcut.

Hope that helps!

any command you can put in console can be put at the startup line as a parameter, just add a "+" (no quotes) before the command and enter it normally.
