Do it yourself soda pop.

I found this site about making soda pop and thought someone might like to try it.

The hard part will be finding the extract, I think. My local Walmart Superstore has McCormick Root Beer Extract which is great -- even without carbination. My Norwegian grandparents use to make rootbeer from Sassafras Root in the 50's-- god it was good! That was back in the days when all soda pop came in returnable glass bottles and jugs. Making Cream Soda can't be that hard because I think it is just vanilla -- I could be wrong. And, you can boil down fruit juices to make extract. Although, it is probably a good idea to filter the juice before you boil it down.
I don't think it will taste "yeasty" because there is only an eighth of a teaspoon in a gallon. The last glass from each bottle will probably have the most yeast residue. But, if the extract has a strong taste, like cola, I dought anyone will taste the yeast.
Marry Christmas!
