Hi
it?s me again:). I have a problem with the AI ingame: They just stand around waiting for their death allthough everything is set up properly (i used the tuts from mohrad:)).
Now, I opened up the console while playing one of this maps without artifical INTELLIGENCE(!!) and it looked like this:

I think this is the problem why the Germans don?t attack. But how can I fix it? If anyone knows an answer, please reply!
Thanx in advance

I have solved the problem myself and want to share my sucess with thoose, you have the same problem
It seems as if the mapname correspondent with the use of ai. Just like the sound. If you give your map a random name, you won?t here any sound. Placing a "dm", "moh" in front of your mapname, you will hear a sound but the ai won?t work with it either.
So I tried the map for the ai way paths to see if my RAD caused the problem and TATA

, the ai works. YOU HAVE TO GIVE YOUR MAP THE NAME "test_yourmap" and the ai and the sound will work!

I have AI problems too and my map is named testsky3. They shoot and go for the "cover" nodes, but wont follow patroll paths at all. I did get one guy to go to a spawn destination, but he stopped working when I tried to make others do it to. I also can't get my MP42 gunner to shoot, Doh! My alarm guy does pull the alarm, but the game crashes with an command overload when the bell starts ringing. So, basically I can't get squat to work, ha ha!!!!

I agree with prefixing maps with "test_". I've spent allot of time trying all sorts of things, but prefixing with "test_" is the only way I've found that will give you both sound and animation . As for the AI acting dorky, I don't know. Mine are doing the same thing. They aren't firing much, they go for cover and everything fine, but they don't get very excited about it. Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to start a topic on info_pathnodes to see if any one truelly knows what they are for? The topic will be in Mapping so check it out if your are intrested, and post in it if you have information. Thanks.
