EXTRACT TO MAIN.... WORKS WITH AA/SH/BT
Although I feel the map isn't finished, I'm so tired of looking at it,
I quit.
Thanks goto j-v map and another unknown soldier from .map, who helped
me save this thing after making a critical error 16 hours in. This is
the reason there are no trigger/doorlocked in the map. once bitten,
twice shy.
Also thanks to the crew at The Modding Theater for all the little bits of
help when I needed it.
It's small, and probably better played in "tactical" mode, but we had fun
on LAn play at full run speed. Unfortunately our LAN party's have become
extremely disorganized, as everybody seems to be doing different things
at the same time, so it didn't get played much.
Next time I'll plan it out a little better, and try and make one more fun.
I had trouble getting vis to work properly on this because of the layout.
I get a low of 135fps with a 2.4 celeron d and soso memory and a 6800gt.
Thats the slowest machine I got. Map plays well enough.
There are 2 prefabs in this map. The awnings on the paint-peeling brick house
are from mohdm7. They fit the map and saved me some time. The other prefab is
in the small warehouse in the middle of the map. The shelving with the goods on
them from omaha beach. The rest of the work is mine.
There are four exploding crates, and only four doors that open. One of the
doors is on the back of the warehouse mentioned above. The other three are in
sequential order to help cut the map in two. The entry is the door under the sign
on the larger warehouse at the back of the map.
My goal was to keep the people "outside" and in the playing field. I hate when
people hide in buildings....
there is also a hidden trench and several ladders to get you onto rooves/patios.
I wish I could have gotten to play it more so I could have altered what I needed
to, but it is what it is.
It's loaded with many allied/axis/ffa spawnpoints all over the map.I don't remember
how many, but close to 20 or so of each I'm sure.
hope you enjoy it
