Just a quickie - hollow cylinders

How do I get a hollow cylinder - I know the really stupid way of making 1 arbituary sided bruses then cutting out a small 1 but as I say thats really stupid and I dont want to do that

Make a cylinder (curve -> primitives > cylinder) and press ctrl + i.

Wil this allow u to texture both inside and outside the cylinder?

Nope, if you want two different textures you need to use two seperate cylinders.

Highlight cylinder, texture it, then goto Curve -> Thicken. Uncheck seams and use 1 as the thickness. If you are just using patch meshes then thickness of 0 will work. If you do that with cylinders it wont work..its got to be at least 1
