Corona that fade in/out

Hi guys,

look:

spawn script_model model "fx/corona_red.tik" "targetname" "blinky"
$blinky.origin = ( 5390.76 -7459.20 3042.76 )
$blinky scale .7
$blinky notsolid
while (1)
{
$blinky hide
wait 2
$blinky show
wait 2
}
end
this works good but i'd like to make the bling hide and show go fade, is it possible to let the blinky show like 20% then 40% etc. or is there a better way to let it fade? thanks alot

An alphaGen sin in the shader might do what you want.

i never heard of that :oops: if it's a shader-maker sounds good, but, i want it to be server-side (like Elgan's Admin pro message Fade).

Oh in that case forget about the alphaGen, it will not work server side.. not sure if there's any other way of making the thing fade, though :?

You could try scaling it.. :idea:
