Map "Snipercity Reloaded"

Hi,

Snipercityreloaded is the newer version of my first map "Snipercity".
I began modding 3 years ago and my first map had a nice "structure" (Position of buildings, streets etc.), nice sniper positions, thats why it has this name, but bad graphics and a horrible design, and I lost the sourcefiles, so I began a new one, similar to the first one. It growed from month to month, and some people came to me with ideas like subways, tram, etc. so it became a fun-map.
I reduced the file from 78 MB to 14 MB (Heh, there were to much sounds and highres textures etc.). Its pretty "hungry" for hardware, so I reduced the farplane.
We have had a lot of fun on LAN Parties, but some people might say "Uh, thats strange."

That looks highly interesting :) .. I'll have to check this out asap. 8-)

P.S. The plural of screenshot is screensh?ter :P

went to test it after downloading and console says the bsp is wrong version number.

Mmmmkay..

I am using MOH:SP "1.0.0.1" and Q3map.exe v."1.34" and Mohlight.exe v. "1.48" .. so I guess thats the compiler version from the SP-SDK..

It runs well using MOH:SP "1.0.0.1" and MOH:BT "1.0.0.1" on my machine.

You can't start the map with MOH:AA

Edit: "Screensh?ters" sounds true :P

I use SH and get an ubersound error and crash.

Mh, tell me the error (copy and paste the line) or post a screenshot.

I had to castrate the map because A) it was to large and B) I must not use some of the material in the public release I used in my privat version, so I had to change the script file for a public release and I might have overseen some lines :-|

..there were sound loops with about 10MB/file, textures with resolutions far away from the 512x512 limit, and some Movie Title Themes, which can't be used due to copyright issues. ;) There is no problem using them at home with friends; so I replaced for example a skull from google pics ( :roll: ) later with a rendered picture from my art collection. Im just to lazy to model a skull and convert it to a texture just to test if it would look pretty in my map ;)

Well, I installed a clean MOH:AA/MOH:SP (German) and the map worked, I guess there *might* be localisation problems and/or filename conflicts.
