.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Ive been having trouble accessing the mohaa console to load and play downloaded SP maps. I've tried writing "maplist" and "~" as I've seen in some posts but the console appears so briefly when the game loads that I cant get anything typed in and the game starts without being able to use thew console. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Is there a tool or utility available to help with using/loading sp maps?

Here is how i access them:
On the main MoH screen, you can see a black clipboard.
It's next to the concrete column, left from the doorway.

If you click that, you can access every SP map available.

You can get the console using the tilt key.
This is normally the key LEFT from your 1 (not on your numpad
