Hi there As You see im new in here and i woluld like to know something about radiant becouse i have a problem. I couldnt find anything about it in this forum but maybe i such a problem was earlyer posted here. Sorry if was.
If i make a brush and then put a texture on it everything is fine unless i click something. After clicking the brush becomes black and i dont know what to do with it and all brushes behave the same. I dont know what i should do. Please help. If such a topic was pasted please post here a link.
you may want to try the surface properties menu (the s key). If that doesnt work then tell me. I also know that on my textures if I try to increase somthing like the horizontal scale with the arrows it turns to a darkish green.
And for future reference we prefer thumbnail images or a link to the image so that it doesnt make the page size out of proportion.
I tryed changeing horizontal scale and the brushes behaves the same
Here are some more screenshots about it.
And i just wanna say tahat im really happy to post here my problems becouse i had some already and i found here a solution. Im really happy that something like this forum exist and you are here to help such a beginers like me
Soryy for problem with last image. I've just edited this post.
Goto filters and select all. If everything disappears do it again. Seems I had a problem like this when I first got started but never fixed it because I didn't know how.
You may have an invisible brush creating a shadow in that area. ?
csg subtract, I used that in the area I had problems with.
cloning too many brushes might cause problems in some instances.....?
what brushes are filtered out. Whatever you have in that area might be the culprit and you might have to delete one or more of those brushes.
I didn't tell you to delete anything. I just made some suggestions as to what may have caused the problem. I ran into lots of problems while working with radiant and figured most but not all of them out.
You say filter world brushes made it disappear. While the black brush is selected, hit the letter "n", ... the entities window will appear. Scroll down to the bottom. There you will see world something or other. What settings or what does it say in the small window above ?

Did you change anything under View > Lighting, or View > Render Quality?
LoooooL this solved my problem After i deselect "Use Real Lighting" the brush become a normal textured brush. This was so easy and i didnt remember it. Damm sorry for such an easy problem.
Some more images for people with the same problem
One more unrelated problem is that you have "Not Found in Source" as the definition for Worldspawn (key N, Entity popup window). This is probably because you have not moved "entdef.pk3" from MOHAATools/Docs to MOHAA/main.
Note: Not having the entdef.pk3 in the game's "main" folder will cause problems with finding some common textures that can only be seen in the editor -- like "trigger" texture. It also contains "Function" items, like func_rotatingdoor and func_window.
