I'm trying to convert sp maps to dm/ctf. I've removed all the actors and I'm not having problems with dm sound, for example taunts. I am having problems with single player objectives. I can't figure out how to remove them. Other problem is I placed a few spawns in, one axis, one allied, and a player start but whenever I spawn itdrops me in the same place regardless of team or first coming into spectate.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I've dont that...
removeclass actor and exec DMPrecache takes care of the sound and players problems. My problems are with removing left over single player objectives and spawning dm clients.

This the easiest way i know.Get mohaa tools and use bsp view to open the bsp file of the map ya trying to convert.Next look for the targetnames in bsp veiw in the entities list to the left.Once ya find the things ya wanna remove ya have to do this in your script.Example $document1 delete or example $door_2 remove .document1 or door_2 being the targetname of the items ya wanna delete.Hope this helps:)

Yeah it should...I have mohaa tools but never used it...I use radiant cause it gives exact coordinates...I lose things when I convert bsp to map files though which is probably part of my problem...
Still got a problem with the spawns, I don't know how to get rid of the original and spawn my own. Yes I know how to script them its just a matter of overriding the old ones (which is what I can't do)

I have stuff on old discs, but it's a pain trying to find it. Did you try and spawn something in the spot you keep spawning in ? If there is an indycrate or another object there, it might work ? Don't forget to make them solid.

If ya want to ya can msg me with some email info and i can send you user-mefy-extgametypes-1_2_2-SINGAL_PLAYER_SH_BT.zip which is a mod done by mefy were he converted a lot of the singleplayer maps to ctf..or ya could prob find that mod somewere on the net ..whichever you prefer.I have this mod but i myself have never run it but i can tell by looking at it theres alot to it and this took a while to do.

Good point
I blocked off the original spawn with a dummy.tik so no one could spawn through it. Got the coordinates from mohaa tools. Then added about 30 spawns to each side (allies/axis). I know 30 is overkill but I like overkill.

I appreciate the offer gold but custom work and custom feel is the goal. This is being made for use on the 65th server so I'm trying my best to give it that feel.
