Right the idea i have for a weapon i have NEVER seen done before on moh, and that usually means that its not possible, but going on another weapon and how that works i think maybe it would work the same.

Firstly im talking about the SMG in the Modern Warfare Mod, the one with the torch on the end. Just so i know how this works, am i right in thinking a scritp origin is told to follow the end of the gun and turn into a corona when the light is switched on... and a script origin is also way out in front of the gun as a light entity that comes on when activated?

If so, how easy would it be to get rid of the light and change the corona into a solid weapons clip?

That is more or less how it works, yeah (though there are some eyes & needles). Anyway, what do you want to do with a weapons clip?

If you mean a shield, there is no problem getting it to show up in the players view -- its just like a snipers view or a gasmask view. For one player to see it on another player you would probably need a new model.

well yea, thats what i was thinking, so basically it would replace the rocket, because if it was to be with other modern swat guns what swat officer have you ever seen use a LAW? Problem is, I'm no good an scripting and i have never modeled in my life. Suppose it was just a concept idea.... but anyones my guest at taking it up. (so long as a read me says "Original idea by Ophis" hehehe



Edit: hell it would be good fun playing SWAT missions with mates.
