Limit for textures...

Is there a limit for using textures in a map?

No, but there is a limit on how much Vis data the game can draw.

I think there is....if you have a 'MAX_SURFACE-INFO' error during compile it means you have too many custom shaders.

This is related to textures as each texture has a shader.
Lots of custom textures = lots of shaders and the possibility of the above error.
