Basicaly ive made a map where there is an trap using an elevator (using func > door). What i want to do is when the elevator comes down and theres a person under it, it would do damage and instantly kill them. The elevator works well but when a person goes under the elevator goes through them and when they get shot the elevator doesnt go back up by itself. Please help me im almost done my map and i wana finish before i go away for the summer! Pease out.

You'll need to do some scripting. Make a trigger for the ground below the elevator -- must not touch people using the elevator. Give it a targetname, like "kill_trigger". The func_door elevator will also need a name, like "ele1".

In the script, have the trigger check to see if a player is touching it and the elevator at the same time, and kill them when it is true. You could also have the dead player drop into a box below -- so he will not touch the elevator anymore. Although, if the hole was deep enough, the player whould die from the fall.

I don't have time to try it, but what if you put a "clip all" under the floor of the elevator ?

And would it take

key/health
value/1000

If its a door give it the key/value dmg/100 that should kill the player if they try to stop the lift with their body.
