Map refresh not needed with this it will update even if you add a map to your map directory while it is running .

Wow!

Wow, it works great!

1. It could use the Windows' "What's This" system for the buttons. Although, I'm sure you are working on a very large "readme".

2. At first, I didn't see the "OK, Cancel" buttons for the compile options. I though it was set by closing the popup window, and there is nothing on the main screen that shows what options are set. So, that could be designed better -- I think its the background or the locations of the buttons outside the white box.

3. One idea for logging might be to have the "Save Log" button flash after the compile is finished. You could also add a "Cancel/Clear" button to make it stop flashing, and/or clear the log dir and name windows.

4. It would also be nice if the "Compiling" button flashed -- during the compile. Then you could see if it was done from across the room. Maybe a finished bell sound?

Hope that helps!

One thing I have to change is that the cancel button on the option windows does not actually cancel your options . The buttons are bound to settings so the setting change when you click an option .

** Edit fixed the cancel button will upload new version later

Nice work Bd
I will test it today!
(ps like your new avator)
<edit> I installed the .net framework like it says to in the installer and tried to run the compiler by clicking on the desktop icon and got this error
"Application generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process ID0xffe85cc9 (-1549111), Thread ID=0xffeb3451 (-1362863)"

Sorry about that I added some sound to it that required cetain .dll's . I rethought that idea and decided against it so download and install it again it again this time you won't have to install the framework .

Did you already update the download?
I redownloaded it and reinstalled it but it still doesnt work :(
It gave me an error similiar to the one i posted before but not the exact one. That was with the framework installed. Then I uninstalled the framework and reinstalled the compiler. No luck, it says that a required .dll file was not found. Whats wrong with it?

I said to reinstall the compiler not uninstall the framework . The framework is needed to run any .net app that is based on the framework . That includes any app written in c# or visual basic or any of the .net languages . It is automatically installed when you install vista .

No not at the end user end . Can be done send me 3 128x32 images or let me know what colors you want . The button are custom buttons in a user control that I creaated . Some are type toggle some are type radio and some are just buttons . So for the toggle or radio buttons there are 3 states checked , unchecked and mousedown . The buttons are using images but can use just colors I didn't create any user preferences options . When I create a project with my custom buttons I set the properties of them on a per project basis and could have given the users some options but didn't .
