Raident Question?

My computer was messed up from bugs and viruses so I rebooted Windows (i have "win98 SE" and yes i know that it sucks) and reinstalled radiant and when i went into the map that i was making there was like visible farplane that made it so you could see everything. I checked worldspawn settings and they were blank. No lighting settings were on. Does anyone know how to fix this so there isnt the farplane effect. It really sucks when you are trying to build a map.
