New Map, 99% Complete

Hey all, just putting the finishing touches on my map. It will
feature two buildings with about 150 windows and 75 doors all
together. A third story crosswalk will connect the two buildings.
A simple courtyard and two guardtowers are also present. A
nice alley behind the buildings with lots of crates to pop out
from. A good sized outdoor area beyond the complex with a
simple bridge viewable in the distance. I should have nearly
1600 entities when final compile takes place. BUT A QUESTION:
can I get someone, say like the surgeon to take a brief look
at my map (it's only in pre-compile form) and let me know
of any problems I may encounter before compiling? Or
anyone else who has made lots of maps. I will give some
credit for editing if you can give me some advice. With 5200
total brushes (I think that includes entities though) you would
probably just have to trust me that no brushes are overlapping.
From certain views, brushes probably appear to overlap. And
I have tried my best to make sure that none were. But some
APPEAR to be overlapping, only to find that if you click the brush
and get an idea to the 3-dimensional space it holds in relation
to other adjacent brushes, it should be compliant. My main concern
will be the framerate. The complexity of the windows and walls and
putting in doors has created more brushes than I would desire.
And the volumes of entities is also a concern, as I do not know
how they affect framerate. But I hope that the framerate can
be acceptable. Losing some detail (as in entities) is an option.
SO, can a master mapper help me. I have spent many, many
hours on this project, so a collaboration would be welcomed.
Please post if you have any comments or would like to help.
P.S. If anyone would like HALF-CREDIT on the map, I would
be happy to if someone could do a custom loading screen,
the compiling and lighting to their desire. Now I could do
these things, but I'm am getting weary from the huge
amount of time I have put into this map. So minor editing
would be allowed for your own creative purposes if you
felt you wanted to add something. Thanks everyone......

Great, I'll give you the url after I upload it. But I need an email address
to give you the url so not just anyone could download it. If your e-mail
is a privacy issue with you, please feel free to contact me at ngsgzg@aol.com with your e-mail address so I can reply with a url.
Thanks for at least looking at it. I will not be insulted by any advice
or criticism you may have. I'm just trying to make a good map.
Any further collaboration is solely up to you. Thanks Surgeon.........

I can make a load screen for you, but I don't need half credit on your map. Just give me the picture you want me to make into it, and the caption, and I should be able to do it for you...

Hmmm Shadow knight - The file from the link u gave me - What is it .bsp or .map ?? It doesn't appear to be a valid anything

Sorry, surgeon. I don't use file transfer protocol very much, as when
I uploaded the file I included a read me file with it and a custom texture.
So I used winrar to compress it. Winrar or many other compression
utilities should open it. But I understand what you mean because when
I downloaded the file it said not valid. But winrar opened it right up.
I will quickly resolve the problem. I did e-mail it to you just in case,
however if you prefer to download it from the net I will get that fixed
in about an hour or so................I'll post when it's ready.

Another thing.......I know the e-mail version is okay, it is a .rar
compressed file, I am trying to figure out why when I upload it
to ftp it changes or doesn't recognize the file, although it can
be opened. Oh, and it contains a .map file, a worthless .bak file
with no info, a read me file and a custom texture file. The file
you are looking at contains these.

It should be fixed now, I forgot to name the file extension I guess!
Redownload it. I will send you the url by e-mail again in case you
need it.
