ground problems

i am creating a rebuilt version of the destroyed village and all the rubble that makes up the groun i want gone so how do i make it level? please answer if you know.

Well, you can delete anything by highlighting it (Shift + Left Click) and hitting the backspace key. That will keep you busy because there is a lot of rubble! -- Note: if you want to see what it looks like without the rubble, go to View > Filters and click on Patches. You can also filter out Terrain from your view. Click on All to bring them back into view.

If you want flat ground, draw a huge brush with common/caulk texture. Highlight just the top face (Shift + Ctrl + Left Click) and add grass or dirt texture. You will probably have to move entire buildings up or down to get them all to sit on the same level. To select an entire building, draw a big brush around it, then go to Selection > Select Inside -- everything inside the brush will be highlighted and the brush itself will vanish.
