Dm or Tdm spawnpoint problems

hello all. Im having problems with my spawnpoints in my map, i have allied and axis spawnpoints placed around the map and a info_player_start in my lobby for people to spawn. but after im done compiling my map the only thing that hasn't changed is i still spawn like in a SP map. i have all the spawn points, and select Dm or TDm in mbuilder before i compile. this is one of the last things i have to fix before i can release my first version of the map. any help would be greatly appreciated.

gotta ask but you are running it as either dm/team when testing, correct ? if you'd like, upload the .map/.pk3 and post a link here .
i'm not f****** angry, i'm from philadelphia .

what u mean testing in dm/tdm. i compile it as dm/tdm but not sure how i am spose to test it that way. if u could clarify what u mean that would be cool. sry but im kinda slow with this kinda stuff.

He means selecting a team game vs a ffa when you get to the game type options after starting the game.

When you are testing the map make sure the g_gametype is 2.

If you are running a server put

set g_gametype 2


in your server.cfg

///////////////////////////////////////////////

If you are running a game from your local machine you must go to the multiplayer / start game / then select Team game

set up a game. select your map and start

////////////////////////////////////////////////

or use the console and type

exec server

then select your map

map dm/mymap

ok now the only time it spawns me like a SP map i when i select the bsp from the maplist icon in the mohaa main menu. i think i realize the issue i was having. thanks for all the helpand expect to see alot of post from me in the future.

the info start will also spawn players if you have less than 2 spawns of either team. That is you need at least 2 axis spawns and 2 allied spwns to deactivate the start spawn in team mode.

ok, all my spawning problems are done with now. thanks for all the ideas and help. U guys r a life savers. :D
