Oops, Something Stupid

Post by mffpetergriffin »

My MOHAA was getting very cluttered and things were annoying me so I decided to reinstall. I had two versions on my machine and I didn't know exactly how to completely uninstall one but not the other. So I guessed lol. I uninstalled my mapping version which had my .map and .bak and all those files in it. Luckily, I had pretty much finished my first official map and was trying to prevent myself from noticing stupid little things and then fixing them while getting side tracked and doing other things to the map. Anyway, all of my mapping files are now gone but my first map is here if you want it. You can also download it from the MOHH section of the MFF Download Site as well as many other goodies for MOHAA and other games.

Let me know what you think of it and be sure to find all the secrets MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah they were in my main/maps/dm folder and all but a few things were taken away. It's no big deal. I did find a file that I had put somewhere else that isn't the most recent version but it has most everything in it so if I really needed a .map file I could use that one and update it.

Haha, thanks! We've been playing it in our clan a little bit but I've never had more than 5 or 6 people in it. Most of the time people are trying to explore and fight and that doesn't always work out. The best is to get in the tree stand and shoot people on the deck and the wall and they have no idea where you are shooting them from lol.

You don't have to keep the editor files in main/maps/dm. Create a new folder (ex: main/maps/peter_g) and put your .map and compiler files there. Then all you have to do is move/copy the .bsp file to the dm or obj folder for testing.
