Well I am leaning again how to make web pages . I am going to be using active server pages .asp and I have the free copy of Visual Web Developer Express but still a rookie as far as that goes . I should be working harder on it though . At least the change to a new host was good I went with Godaddy they are a good host and it ended up being cheaper as well . My last host was really crappy even thier presales forums where full of porn ads and crap . They offered asp but it never worked .

*cough cough* ;)

Dude, drop ASP. Seriously, it's evil. You'd be better off with PHP.

I don't like free sites they don't have what my new host has like support and the latest technology like asp 3.5 , databases and other services . I don't know if I will take advatage of them but I like that I can . I even had a personal phone call from my new host asking if I need any help and to let me know about the support they offered . I like asp because I can use visual basic programing on the code behind page that is run on the server . I don't know php but that is as far as I seen when I checked into it is old technology and is very script intensive . It is a whole new language I don't want to learn . Reminds me of lynix . Unless you like doing things manually with a text editor it's not worth it . With asp I can use the free Visual Web Developer Express edition and have access to a whole host of video's on how to do just about anything you will need . Also there are lots of tutorials to look at . I am hosted at GoDaddy.com now and I am saving a lot of money over my last host and the service is 10x better . I am still deciding how to present my mods at the site tring different ideas . I will try to get it up to the point that it will allow downloading again soon then work on the look of it . I can even If I want have a members area but not sure if I'll do that since most of what I do I let anyone have .

Dude, no offence, but do you even know what you're talking about? PHP is *the* bleeding edge server-side web applications technology. Version 5 has been released in 2004 and was a complete overhaul of the engine, rendering it the fastest and most efficient server scripting solution, both in ordinary scripting operations and database access (primarily intended for cooperation with MySQL). The latest version (5.2.5) came out in November 2007, and the project is constantly in development. If you call that "old technology" then show me something new.
