Need help about bots

Ok i know i need scripts to make bots respawn
but what exactly do i need to put in the scripts to make them respawn? i put level.dmrespawning=1 like in the other stock maps and didnt work
i dont know how to read scripts i can read some tho
i need help

Why are you messing around placing the bot scripts in other pk3s?
Follow the instructions
here, then bots
will respawn when you set level.dmrespawning = 1.

Yes, and set up the jv_bots as normal.

on the bots i went to ai>mutiplayer thats jv_bots thtas what i used to spawn them on my map in radient and i put what you told me and didnt work level.dmrespawning = 1

No that is putting bot entities in your map, not running bot scripts (what I meant). A totally different thing really. Not sure what you want, might not be actual jv_bots... if you just want some AI to guard a static location or so, do put the multiplayer->ai in the map but then you have to do the scripting yourself. This includes making them respawn (i.e. simply spawn the bot again) as well as adding code to make them attack players from the opposing team only.

There are members who can help too but start with that .
