Topic split from the MW2 news item.

With this 1 post you've displayed your disrespect for the community members and their time.
First, you didn't even bother to read through the forum categories to see which one your problem belongs to.
Second, your spelling and punctuation are disastrous and make your post hard to read.
Third, you did nothing to describe your problem in detail which would help us actually solve your problem (saying "it dont work" does not provide any information as to what the cause of the problem might actually be, now, does it?).

Before you ask again, I strongly suggest that you read the How To Ask Questions the Smart Way document.

Are you compiling with Mbuilder?

looks to me like after he saves in radiant he believes that's the compile and is confused as to why there is no .bsp file to run with .
explanation: you build in radiant (.map file)
and compile with mbuilder (.bsp file)

I think he needs to hit the "bsp" button in radiant before he tries to compile correct?
At least I do it, mbuilder doesn't work if I dont. I usually hit "save" the "bsp" tyhen "save" again, maybe this isn't right, but thats what I have to do.

not that i'm aware of , didn't even know there was a .bsp button in radiant . just point mbuilder to the .map, pick a style and start .

Now that's much better. :)

As the guys already said, the easiest way is to use MBuilder. There's a download link in the download section somewhere on the front page. Check out the tutorials, too, they'll help you avoid some early disappointments.

when i use the Mbuilder i think i put all the details right i click build map and it says

q3map.exe'" is not recognized as a internal or external command
operable program or batch file

then it says once i click a button

MOHlight.exe'"is not recognized as a internal or external command
operable program or batch file

then when i press another button it closses it.

So I Think It Has Something To do With My Q3Map

I don't think your using Mbuilder. Get it here
http://users.1st.net/kimberly/Tutorial/mbuildertut.htm

*beware some people claim their getting virus's from this site but I've never had any issues* but I have an extra thick condom on my drive

Don't forget to spend a little time to configure it right.

Heh, nope, you definitely put the details wrong. Check the paths to the files (q3map.exe, mohlight.exe).

Follow these steps young padawan

To be honest It's been so long since I mapped for this game I have refered to Nemesis tutorial page, as far as I can recall it worked for me when starting out.

1) the Game Source directory is pointing to ?C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA?
2) The compile source is pointing to ?C:\Program Files\MOHAATools?
3) And the map source is pointing to ?C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\main\maps\dm?
4) Make sure you are saving your maps in ?C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\main\maps\dm? and if you do not have the maps\dm folders make them.
5) Make sure in MBuilder you do not have anything in the boxes for vis bsp and light on the left!
6) In MBuilder, make sure in other options you do not have Pause selected for all three- vis light and bsp!

Mbuilder should follow these paths:

Game Directory- C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA

Compile Directory- C:\PROGRA~1\MOHAAT~1

Map Source Directory- C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\main\maps\dm

Objective maps- C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\main\maps\obj
Good luck

Well that assumes he installed the game in the default directory and the same for the tools . Either way the paths are set wrong in Mbuilder . If you used different directories then point game directory to where mohaa is and the compiler directory to the directory where qmap.exe is right now it is set wrong and so the batch file for Mbuilder can't find it . I have the tools on the D: drive so my setup is different . Any directory can be the maps directory it all depends on where the maps get saved when you run Mohradiant . So set that one to that directory .
