Anyone want to help with OBJ/TOW Script for Tractor Works???

I am SO discombobulated........... :oops: Sorry if asking to much...

I've got a plan and nothing for sense on scripting objectives, spent many hours trying and not sure it's right. SO, asking if anyone would contribute skills to the project.

These are from the Axis perspective....

What I want IF OBJECTIVE:
- two static objectives; open a door, turn-off generators.
- three random spawn locations; blowup a radio, blowup a T-34, steal documents (three or four locations each for variety).

IF TOW:
- two static objectives; open a door, turn-off the generators
- three random: turn off the radio, blow up the T-34 (spawn linked), defend the axis transport (spawn linked).

Random spawns should force play to all areas. I think I prefer the straight Objective version. Any input is appeciated.

AND--I've followed the tuts here, (wombat's) and no way can I get it to test with only one player..per his instructions using "//" to allow that.

Just make sure you haven't got a waittill roundstart in your script and you can test it with one player.

Thanks JV, but I had put multiple "/////" in front of that text, I'll go back and delete it all and see....

Still didn't make a difference. Maybe I'm an idiot, but seems like the .scr file isn't even being loaded. Don't know any other explanation. Both the .scr and .bsp files are in mohaa/mainta/maps/obj OR is that the problem? Should they be somewhere else? or made into a pk3??? Yeah, idiot............. :shock:

Just check your console, it will tell you whether the script was loaded. Maybe add a println line to the top of your script just to be sure.
