M1 garand replacement weapon

Hi.

I have made a rifle and am trying to replace the M1 Garand with it. I know that you need to do something special with the bones in order to make it show up... as of now, I cannot get the weapon model in game to replace the m1 Garand... When I try, a weapon model does not appear.


guidance would be appreciated

I need to know what you have to do special with reaplacing the M1 Garand versus the Kar98...

as in when making the weapon model

We get that part but what have you done . Post your tik . Did you create a skd ? Did you use custom textures ? Post an image from Lightray3D if that is what you used . Did you follow a tutorial . Maybe upload it somewhere so it can be downloaded to see what you have done . Try extracting the SKD of the m1 and importing it into Lightray3D . Delete the skin then move , scale and position your new gun so it fits the bones . Convert the mesh of your model to a skin and bind the verts to the bones like the original model was done . We can't read minds so thats the best I can do for you for now .
