Mapping help

Post by $oldier Of Ra »

Okay, you may remember that proximo wanted to remove barbawires from a map? Well we've managed to convert that map's .bsp file to .map!

As far as we know, no errors popped up so I can say it's a success.

Now, as a precaution as to not to screw up anything and because we don't know much about this stuff, I would like someone to remove all the barbwires(except the ones marking the edge of the map) and maybe convert back to bsp.

If anyone is up for the job, I would really appreciate it!!

Thanks in advance!

Well its easy, open up the .map file with mohradiant, select the barbed wire (hold shift, click on it) and press backspace, do this on all of them, save, recompile.

converting a bsp to a .map file is alot different than having the source .map file.A converted one you will spend many hours/days/ rebuiding
