hey guys i just need to know the script for putting team taunts in a SP map.....i saw it here or somewhere before but cant remember for the life of me now lol......thx

Been trying to go through all the old post too and can not seem to find something about a fix for this. If anyone know where the script is for this it would greatly be appriecated.

After reading some on modding theater figured out that u can only get the text to work not the sound to work on taunts. Kind of weird since you can get the weapons to work on a fix. If anyone knows different please let me know.

well i know for a fact u can get both to work...i have seen it and heard it myself....i think method clan server does it on theres and also it used to work on ours but now it doesnt...thinking another mod or program is conflicting.....it should work by itself but for some reason it just not

naw not working on methods. theirs is text only like my server is right now. showed them sorrids weapons fix the other day.

You can fix it clientside but unlike the weaponsounds, you cannot fix it serverside. I saw a fix for it once. I can't remember where, try searching tmt.

Can't you just add the sound to the uberdialoug for each SP map you want them to be used on?

No because taunts and other dialogue are played clientside... Same with the weapons but you can make the server handle the weapon sounds.

Yeah looked around TMT but all the single player to multiplayer map fixs just include sound mod and getting text to show. Thanks for the Info though.

hmmm ill have to go back to methods then because when i used to play there i swear they were working...even asked one of the modders how it works and he just said it should automatically work....ill check again

Did want to make post on something along the same lines as taunts. My question is where is there a weapon sound mod for single player to multiplayer maps. Was using sorrids but I have something that really throwing it off. Here is the problem. Start the server off with stock map everything fine then it rotates to single player and some mods like double zoom sniper and spawn protection stop working but sound works. I could live with that. Btw, those mods are executed from the DMpreache.scr which is also executed in the map.scr. Now here were the problem gets worse. When it switches back to stock map some weapons have double sound like the bar,stg, and etc. Even the server seems to lag alittle when I enter commands. If you know of or have a sound mod for single player to multi. Please let know. I hate playing maps with no weapons sound. I will try to run on Lan and see what kind of errors I get and post.

Nothing weird in the log. Only thing I can figure out is after the change back to stock multiplayer map sorrids weapon sound mod is overwriting my DMpreache.scr. I have changing the zzz's to before and after and have also tried even putting the sound mod in my .pk3 for my multiplayer maps but was no go.

I have made one, which doesn't use the states to fix the sounds. Consequentially, the pullout and putaway sounds don't work but all others do. I'll have to look into that some more.
Btw, is it possible you're using my double zoom script?

Yeah I am using your double zoom scopes they work like a charm. I have silent pistols as secondary and several people have asked about getting zoom on those with melee still on. Would you mind sharing your single player fix really dont care about the pull out and put away. Just playing a map where someone can shoot a bar and you have no clue where he is at = no fun for me atleast.
