Hey There!
"you shot down an enemy fighter"
In SH - I would like to +1 addkill to shooter for bot kills - is there a place to do this just for bot kills - possible? thx
Also - not sure if I asked this before but....
Is there a way to script a simple tether to keep the bots flight inside the skybox and above the ground??

Hmmm there's always something missing in skylimit eh

. Mind you the AI are an unsupported feature for a reason
1st thing should be possible, depends on your particular SL version where to make the change though. 2nd would be pretty difficult as the bot planes fly just like any other plane, no exemptions on the rules of physics for them

anyways - got the addkills working. there are 8 places to add the code in "flight" script.
JV - I have server19 version. Is there a later version?

Hmm well I have a slightly upgraded version which is not released to the public because a client-side upgrade is needed, and considering the small player base I didn't want to release another, incompatible version.
More important though is that you are presumably working with the mohpiled versions of the scripts (see comments on top of script file), which is barely human-readable.
A more readable version of the scripts can be found in the SDK on my website:

This also includes the mohpiler program used to 'pile' the scripts. It is basically a very simple optimizer (function inliner) which gives a slight performance boost to the script. However you can run a server perfectly fine with unpiled scripts, too.

I will try that - here is my change log to server1.9
1. added ubersound file to cache sounds for spearhead
2. added cvar SL_VOLUME to control engine and prop sound level (skylimit/main) RCON ONLY
3. added hack to put B17 in sicily TDM map if run in OBJ mode (DM/SL_Sicily.scr) RCON ONLY
4. added hack to put B17 in Alamein TDM map if run in OBJ mode (DM/SL_Alamein.scr) RCON ONLY
5. added cvar SL_NOFLAK to remove anti aircraft guns in TDM MAPS (skylimit/vehicles) VOTEABLE
6. added cvar SL_NOFLAKOBJ to remove anti aircraft guns in OBJ MAPS (skylimit/vehicles) VOTEABLE
7. added exec addstufftoskylimit.scr (skylinit/main) for mods insert
8. added cvar SL_PRACTICE to remove roundstart wait for single player practice or team vs bot (skylimit/main) VOTEABLE
9. added cvar SL_PRACTICE_PAUSE to set end round wait in single player practice mode (skylimit/main) VOTEABLE
10. added cvar SL_SUSPENSION_TIME to change time delay setting for suspensions (skylimit/main) VOTEABLE
11. added cvar SL_PRACTICE_BOTS_ALLIES & SL_PRACTICE_BOTS_AXIS to add flying bots for target practice (skylimit/ai) VOTEABLE [options - both teams 1 OR both teams 2 OR allies 1,2,3 or 4 OR Axis 1,2,3 or 4]
12. added addkill scoreboard bonus for bot kills +1 and -1 for friendly fire.

Are you actually still playing this?
Hehe that's pretty cool. I should hop by sometime if ok. I wonder, are you interested in a 2.0 version? If there actually is some interest I shall get my act together and finish it up

. May need help with making it SH compatible.
Interestingly some of your changes I also made in the upgraded version, though in a different way (mostly just readjusting plane types, flak effectiveness and suspension time).

Hmm this is coincidential... I just started on editing your jv_bots01, jv. Fixes now and I hope to get a scoreboard of my own working which uses globalwidgetcmd's instead of cvars. I fixed everything I could of the things spamming my console during play.
I've improved a lot in scripting. I've been experimenting with scripting bots for a while. I'll let you know there's still interest in bots as well

me and prox for sure, never stopped playing that wonderscript you created!
