bots using pathnodes in mp custom map.... saw nice file wher

Hello
I want add bots to my custom maps... they will use pathnodes etc, everything like in mXlYa.... i prefix'd map with test_ and placed in dm, but ai dont work... i saw somewhere file, called MP AI, maybe on Bdoger or SmallSumo website? Idk maybe it can solve problem... please link r any hints about AI etc...

The AI you want, isn't the jv_bots? In either case, can you be more clear? "How" don't they work, what's happening? Show your script (if you didn't do it through radiant). And search&post console errors.

maps/dm/test_aaa_mp

I put nice cappy with thompson near Ally's resp, he act like without test prefix... simply stand still and sometimes take a look on player... hes killable by axis, and by allies too... he crouch when he "saw" grenade,but when he get shot he stand still until hes hp reach 0... then he fall, die and drop thompson :D there is no pathnodes, but he should shoot at germans....

Yah test_ is only for single player maps, it has no effect if your map is not in the 'main/maps' folder (in other words this excludes subfolders).

Your AI will work to some extent if you use the .tik's from jv_bot01.pk3. However they will act like SP AI, hence attack players on all sides, including spectators. You could also opt to use the bot scripts, depending on what exactly you are trying to achieve.

I already downloaded your bots with snowy bunker map, theyr awesome...but there is one small problem.. why bots react so slooooooowly???Do you fixed it?


Btw do friendly.scr works for them? Can i make them follow player? Add small squad for each player?
