i want to create a spawn point for the allies to parachute into a specific area. i would like to have the plane and the plane's sound during the respawn to simulate a drop. sort of like the beginning of SH.

if anyone has played BF, my goal for the MP map is like operation market garden, where the allies parachute in.

thanks.

okay no reply yet.

is it possible to set up some type of platform on which the spawn point starts off and triggers the platform appear to be floating in an angled path?

if it is possible during the game to be aboard a jeep with a predefined path, then the parachute spawn cannot be impossible.

i am not a scripting nor mapping genius, yet . but i know some of you are.

i will try my hardest to come up with something, but it won't be soon.

oh yeah i have just finished my 1st map(nervous) and was looking for people to review it. mailto:bill_yow@ev1.net

unfortunatley, i don't have any screenshots to post today. but, can have some in a couple of days(work :( )

thanks in advance.

Yes I think it's possible what you want. Be aware that it involves a real load  of scripting though.

I don't know if you're any good at scripting, but I can tell you it's pretty difficult. Especially for multiplayer :?

Uh huh! Now I'm trying a method to blow things up. Much easier than bombing tanks. The flak, nebelwerfer and panzer all blow up to become their destroyed models. But there's no explosion fx, so it's tough and I'm working on it.

BTW, I'm also working on driveable kingtiger tanks. Maybe jeeps soon. Or how to make an Opel truck, maybe a higgins, with animations such as soldiers waiting, and the stupid coxwains driving the boat. But too lazy that's why.
