It will help to turn some brushes into details. Use it for trims and stairways.

over 2,600 faces seems like a lot for one building, do you have a couple small screens to show??? Did you use 'caulk' on all the non-visable surface faces? Try what JV said, make all the little stuff like steps, trim, broken/angled stuff 'detail'...use the 'right-click' method.
2,600 may not be so much if it's huge and detailed. Post a couple small screens and you may get some better answers.

Do
not I repeat
not use the right-click detail

.
Use shift + ctrl + D detail instead. The 'blue detail' are just brushes turned into 'fake' entities, pushing up the entity count and thereby wasting your framerates.

Make everything that has a very odd shape or doesn't block sight detail.
Most important are trims and stairs.

You can use right click but if you do make sure you use the option that says "make detail" and not the one that only says "detail", if you do it correct the brush should be outlined with green in the 2D grid.
You VIS data is way off for one building!!! Do as JV said....use detail on stairs, any odd brushes with many sides, rails, whatever that doesn't block any views.
